Blazers Hockey Club’s hopes of finishing in the 2nd position looked possible after defeating their old rivals Sliders. There was only 1 match pitting JKUAT and Kisumu Youngstars who shared spoils.

Women
Sliders continued to slide to the bottom of the table while Blazers are propelling to finish second after their 2-0 win against them. Joan Anjao’s penalty conversion in the 15th minute and Barbara Simiyu’s 59th-minute field goal are what Blazers needed to be just a point behind 2nd placed Lakers who have 21 points.
Men
MSC will go back home with no point this weekend as they lost in the early kick-off against 2nd-placed Western Jaguars 3-1. Bethuel Masambu scored 2 goals in the 27th and 49th minutes of the game. The 3rd goal was scored by Richard Njuki. The lone goal for MSC was scored by James Omondi in the 28th minute.
Wazalendo beat Parkroad Badgers 3-0 in a derby played at City Park. Brian Aura opened the score sheet in the 16th minute. Cliffe Omari added the second in the 41st minute. 3 minutes to the final whistle, Alex Mango closed the score sheet books with the Badgers this season.

Men
Kisumu Youngstars drew 1 all with JKUAT wildcats at City park. Francis Oyugi scored the opener for Kisumu 3 minutes into the 2nd half after they got a Penalty stroke. With 2 minutes to the end of the match, the wildcats got a penalty corner and they made good of it as captain Terrence Pkenden managed to level the scores.
Youngstars now have 4 points from this weekend after winning yesterday against Nakuru. JKUAT will have to be content with a point this weekend after losing yesterday to 2nd placed KCA university.
Nakuru has lost 2 matches in a row this weekend at home. Parklands Sports Club beat them 3-1 at the Greensteads International School. Dan Onyango of Parklands scored the opening goal in the 9th minute. It took Nakuru 9 minutes for them to level scores with a goal by Brian Bazil. 2 minutes to the halftime buzzer, William Kirwa put parklands ahead once again. 5 minutes to go he scored his 2nd goal and 3rd for the team.
KU Vultures beat TUK 2-0. Victor Mutati scored the 1st goal 2 minutes before the halftime buzzer went off. In the last quarter, Phelix Mandela scored the 2nd goal. This was also the 2nd victory for the vultures in a single weekend.
National League – Eastern Zone
UoN ended the weekend on a high beating Thika Rovers 3-0. George Wekesa, Captain Robert Mwangi, Hosea Wekesa, and Brian Simotwo scored in the 6th, 11th, 17th, and 43rd minutes of the match respectively. UoN has 6 goals and 6 points from this weekend while Thika Rovers go home with nothing.
