With less than a month according to the deadline set by the National Union of 20th March 2022 for county associations to have done elections, 2 counties will be doing theirs this weekend. There are six County Associations affiliated to Kenya Hockey Union (Kakamega, Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Kiambu)
Mombasa and Kakamega will be the first associations to hold their elections on 26th & 27th February respectively. This will then be followed by Nakuru.

Kakamega County Hockey Association – 27th Feb 2022
Nakuru County Hockey Association – 5th March 2022
Kisumu County Hockey Association- 12th March 2022
Nairobi County Hockey Association – 16th March 2022
Kiambu County Hockey Association – 19th/20th March 2022 proposed dates
After these elections are done, the focus will be on the national elections which will be held on 16th April 2022 according to the election roadmap released by Kenya Hockey Union Secretary General, Wycliffe Ongori.
