
Another weekend has arrived and with it a few matches that will be played across the country. Six matches will be played on Saturday while seven matches played on Sunday.
Saturday
JKUAT ladies will face the travelling MSC Ladies in the first match of the day at noon at City Park for the Super League Women’s match. JKUAT will be hoping to get all the points for them to surpass MSC are second in the table with a game in hand.
At two o’clock, the JKUAT men’s team will be guests to Wazalendo Masters at City Park. JKUAT are currently sitting in eighth position with eleven points with a game in hand while Wazalendo are fourth with eighteen points.
Daikyo Heroes are in Nairobi for there National league match in the Eastern Zone against Daystar University. They will be hoping to continue their clean unbeaten record against the varsity side who are sixth on the table.
Elsewhere in Bungoma, Bungoma Farmers will host Bay Club from Kisumu and hope to win their second match in a row at home. Bungoma Farmers are currently in fifth with seven points while Bay club are third also with seven points but with a game in hand and greater goal difference.
In the Women’s Premier league, Sliders hockey club will face Amira Sailors at four o’clock at City park. Sliders are currently at the bottom of the league with two points with Sailors just above them with three points. Both teams haven’t registered a win yet and will be hoping to do so when they meet.
The Last match of the day will feature Parkroad Badgers taking on the travelling MSC. Parkroad will be hoping to redeem themselves after losing their last match while MSC will be hopeful to register their first win. MSC are currently last on the table with only one point while Parkroad are ninth with six points.
Sunday
City Park will host the first match of the day featuring MMU ladies facing MSC ladies at nine o’clock. MMU are fifth with five points while MSC’s points and position will depend on the match they would have played on Saturday.
Impala will then host Daikyo heroes at the Impala club at ten o’clock. Impala will be hopefull to reduce the point gap against Daikyo who have proven to be a force to reckon with with their unbeaten record. Impala are currently second with seventeen points while Daikyo are leading the table.
At eleven o’clock, Greensharks will be hosting MSC at the city park hockey stadium. Greensharks will be looking to bounce back after their loss to Butali last week. Sharks are sitting on eighth with ten points while MSC are last with their points depending on their match against Parkroad on Saturday.
Parklands will then host MMU men at city park at one o’clock for their Men’s Super league match. Parklands are sixth with fourteen points while MMU are tenth with ten points. At three, TUK will face title contenders Sikh Union at city park. TUK are ninth on the table with ten points while Sikh are leading with twenty nine points.
The last match will feature USIU-A men against Wazalendo at City park at five o’clock. Both teams will be hopeful to register a win since they are only separated by a single point with Wazalendo being ahead at third position.
