The Kenya Hockey union has released the 18 men squad for the National Chui squad leaving tonight for the 2024 Olympics qualifiers being held in South Africa. The Africa road to Paris 2024 will kick off from from October 29th to November 5th, 2023, will be held in Pretoria, South Africa.
GoalKeepers
The goalkeepers include Samuel Silong and Joshua Omondi from USIU-A and Kenya Police respectively.
Defenders
Butali Warriors players Constant Wakhura and Kennedy Munialo will play along side Charles Ashiundu and Moses Muigai from Western Jaguars and Mathias Gularire of Parkroad Badgers.
Midfielders
The midfield includes Francis Kariuki and Allan Iningu from Butali Warriors, Ivan Ludiali of Western Jaguars, Brian Ongeche of Strathmore and Cliff Omari of Wazalendo.
Forwards
The lethal forwards comprises of Danston Wabwire of USIU, Bethwel Masambu of Western Jaguars and Moses Ademba of Butali.
South Africa, the hosts, is in Pool A against Nigeria and Zimbabwe. Pool B comprises Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, and Zambia.
