Kenya Hockey Union through its Secretary-General, Wycliffe Ongori has directed all County Associations to hold their elections not later than 20th March 2022 in an email seen my Hockey254.
Late last year KHU had proposed an election road map that means County Elections to be done latest 28th February 2022 but a majority of the County Associations have not kept to the timelines except Kakamega County Association and, Mombasa County Association.
There are a total of six county Associations affiliated to Kenya Hockey Union. The six are Mombasa, Nairobi, Kakamega, Kisumu, Kiambu, and Nakuru County Associations
The union still intends to hold national elections on 16th April 2022.
