The Kenya Hockey Union leagues return this weekend the 10th of September for the second leg after being postponed due to the elections. Sixteen games will be played during the weekend across all leagues.
Saturday
National League Men
The Eastern zone of the National league will commence with Nairobi Chapel hosting Impala Hockey club at Strathmore Hockey grounds at noon. Daystar University will then face the Gorillas Hockey club at two o’clock.
Two Western Zone matches will be played in Kisii and Bungoma. Bay club will visit Kisii Falcons at two o’clock for their match while in Bungoma, Nandi Hawks will be hosted by Bungoma Farmers for their match.
Super League
Kisumu Youngstars will host JKUAT men in Kisumu for their rescheduled match at noon. Back in Nairobi, Sikh Union will play their first match of the season at City Park when they face Parkroad tigers at four o’clock.
KU ladies will play Vikings at City Park from noon in the women’s category.
Premier League Women
Only one game will be played from the ladies’ premier league for the weekend which features DFG Wolverines hosting Sliders Hockey club at two o’clock.
Premier League Men
The last game of the day will feature Kenya Police taking on Wazalendo Hockey Club at six o’clock at the City Park Hockey stadium. Kenya police will rooting to win against their rivals while Wazalendo redeem their first leg loss to Kenya Police.
Sunday
National League men
Blue Pirates will host Kisii Falcons in Kakamega at ten o’clock while Impala host Karate Axiom at the Impala club.
Super League Women
At nine o’clock, KU ladies will take on Nairobi Chapel Ladies at the city park stadium for the only women’s super league match.
Super League Men
KCAU will host Parklands Sports club for their second leg match at eleven o’clock. After that, KU men will face Wazalendo masters at one. Both matches will be played at City Park.
Premier League men
Two Matches will be played in this category. At three, Parkroad badgers will host USIU-A men at City Park then after Greensharks play Butali at five o’clock for the last game of the weekend.
