The Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) league resumes this weekend after an Easter break last weekend. Week 7 will have 13 games scheduled to be played. 1 National League, 7 Super League matches, and 5 Premier League matches are scheduled to be played.
National League
3rd placed Gorilla will take on 4th placed University of Nairobi (UoN) at the Strathmore University Grounds. UoN will be playing their 2nd match while Gorilla will be playing their 3rd match. The 2 sides have met twice. They drew in 2018 and UoN won 1-0 in the last match against Gorilla in 2019.
Super League
2 Super League ladies’ games will be played this weekend at City Park. UoN will take on their fellow university side, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Both teams will be playing their 2nd matches. UoN won their 1st match while JKUAT drew theirs.
5 men’s Super League matches are slated to play this weekend. Mvita XI welcomes Parkroad Tigers on Saturday respectively. Kenyatta University (KU) plays Nakuru on Saturday and Parkroad Tigers on Sunday. at City Park. Parklands Sports Club plays Wazalendo Masters in the last Super League game.
On Sunday JKUAT plays the Technical University of Kenya (TUK).
Premier League
MSC hosts Sailors and Parkroad Badgers in Mombasa on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Greensharks play Wazalendo in the last fixture on Saturday and on Sunday Butali Warriors take on Strathmore University in the last fixture for the weekend.
