KHU has released a team of 30 players down from 46 who will be reporting to camp anytime from now in preparation for the commonwealth games. The games will be held from Fri, 29 Jul 2022 – Mon, 8 Aug 2022 in Birmingham, England. Blades 1st will be on July 29th, 2022.
With 3 weeks to the competition, the team will be trimmed further to 18 players. They will be joined by foreign-based players Betsy Ommala and Lilian Aura who play for Slough hockey club and HTC Bonn in the UK and Germany respectively.
Kenya is in Pool B with Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Scotland.
