Kisii Falcons and Daikyo Heroes are out for debut wins as Cops seek to Arrest Sugar Millers.

Daikyo Heroes and Kisii Falcons will be seeking wins against their names when they make their debut in the KHU National league matches in the Eastern and Western zones respectively.

The coastal side will be in the capital to square it out against Thika Rovers and Nairobi Chapel on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

“Being a new outfit in the scene does not really mean we are whipping boys for the others,” one of the players commented.

“We will bring our arsenal to the battlefield and give our all in the 2 matches slated in the capital this weekend,” he added.

The matches will be played at the Strathmore University Hockey pitch in Nairobi.

In the Western zone, another new kid in the block will be making its debut in the scene too. Kisii-based Falcons are confident that they have sharpened their talons and are ready to claw the Pirates from Kakamega.

The match is scheduled to be staged in Kisii land in Cardinal Otunga High School. On their part, Blue Pirates are also confident that they will carry the day.

“We will do our best even though we will be playing away to bring home at least a point if not maximum points from this match,” commented a team official.

“We are however not brushing them aside. They are serious competition and that is why they took up the challenge of competing in the league just as we are and I would like to tell the boys to be ready for a serious outing,” added the official.

It will be a full-blown encounter as Wazalendo Masters will be seeking to overcome a resurgent Sikh Union when they host them at the City Park Hockey Stadium.

Having just registered a slim win against TUK, Sikh Union will be out to extend their winning streak tally and they are taking a match at a time.

Sunday will see them host University side KCA in the Dashmesh Hockey Stadium.

Nakuru will also seek to have its name among the winners this weekend when they host TUK-Men in their Super League match.

Despite being away from the city, TUK is looking forward to a positive outing especially after losing its last outing to Sikh Union. On their part, Nakuru is banking on the home-ground advantage to carry the day.

Despite mixed results and no win against its name, a revamped Parklands Sports Club will be out to rectify its past mistakes and start collecting wins against its name.

Under the captaincy of Allan Odongo and a mixture of young blood and a pool of experience, KU will definitely have a run for their money.

Lang’ata roadside Multimedia University will on Sunday host 2019 National League winners Parkroad Tigers while their ladies will be hosted by Thika Roadside JKUAT.

In the top tier league, it will be fireworks as Law enforcers Kenya Police will be out guns blazing as they will be seeking to arrest sugar millers Butali is the only premier league match on Saturday dubbed “The Big Match.”

After having been upset by Butali in 2019, Kenya Police will be leaving nothing to chance as they take to the pitch against the Zack Aura-led side come Saturday evening.

However before the “Big Match”, defending champions in the ladies’ premier league Blazers will be out to win after registering a draw against USIU-A ladies last weekend.

Sunday will see the ladies in action as Amira Sailors will be out to snatch maximum points from Sliders. Sliders will however not let this go sitting down as they are ready to put up a serious fight in the match.

The weekend will be culminated by another tough match as Varsity boys Strathmore under the watchful eye of former Kenyan national team coach Meshack Senge will be out hand Greensharks another loss after that handed to them by Butali in the last weekend.

However, the Shark will not take this without a fight in its territory as they will be the hosts of the match.
