The Mombasa County Hockey Association Circuit returns this weekend with some thrilling matches for the fans to relish upon. The tournament which will be hosted by St Charles secondary school in
Mombasa will consist of four men’s teams and two ladies’ teams.
The men’s teams participating will include the Mombasa Sports Club (MSC), Mvita XI, Mombasa West hockey club, and Daikyo Heroes, hockey team. The ladies on the other hand will be represented by Mombasa Sports Club – Women and The Swans hockey team.
The games set to be played on Sunday, the 26th of June 2022, will kick off with Mombasa Sports club taking on Mvita XI at One O’clock. A ladies’ match will then follow at exactly 2:30 pm. The Swans will take on MSC- Women. The Circuit will then conclude with a match between Daikyo Heroes and Mombasa West hockey club at 4:00 pm.
MSC men lead the men’s circuit with 8 points from 5 matches same as Daikyo Heroes. MSC has a goal difference of 3 while Daikyo who is 2nd has 2. Mombasa West and Mvita XI are 3rd and fourth respectively with 6 and 3 points respectively. Swans have not managed to get any point from MSC ladies in all the 3 matches played.
