As the excitement builds for the upcoming Masters Tournament organized by the Mombasa County Hockey Association,MCHA is thrilled to share the wonderful news of two new sponsors who have come forward to support this prestigious event. The tournament, scheduled to take place on the 8th and 9th of June, promises to be a thrilling showcase of hockey skills and camaraderie.
Yesterday, our Vice President, Trina Mulwa, had the honor of receiving a generous sponsorship of Ksh 50,000 from Mayfair Insurance Company Limited. Their Business Development Manager, Mr. Gibson Maina, presented us with a cheque, demonstrating their commitment to supporting sports in the community. MCHA are truly grateful for their contribution, as it will go a long way in ensuring the success of the tournament.
In addition to Mayfair Insurance Company Limited, they have also received a significant donation in the form of trophies from Purity Zawadi and Farha Khan of Visible General Supplies. Their generosity and support are invaluable in elevating the stature of the Masters Tournament. MCHA extended their heartfelt gratitude to them for their contribution, which adds a touch of prestige to the event.
Furthermore, just two days ago, our President, Oliver Mascarenhas, was delighted to receive 20 beautifully crafted miniature trophies from Mr. Mohamed Mustafa Somji of Coastal Image Technologies Ltd. These trophies will be awarded to the deserving winners of various categories during the tournament. The attention to detail and quality of these trophies is truly remarkable.
These recent sponsorships and donations join the previous contributions we have received towards the Masters Tournament. The M.D of Daikyo Japan Motors and Daikyo Heroes Patron, Mr. Farhan Khan, had graciously donated Ksh 30,000 towards the event.
Additionally, former hockey player, Mr. Dominic Wachira Gichengo, contributed Ksh 50,000 towards the tournament. His generosity reflects the deep passion he has for the sport and his desire to see it flourish in Mombasa.
With the combined support of these sponsors and donors, the Mombasa County Hockey Association is confident that the Masters Tournament will be a resounding success.
