In an effort to revamp match officials’ numbers, the Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) through Kenya Hockey Union Umpires Association will conduct training for NEW umpires on 29th and 30th April 2023 at City Park Hockey Stadium Boardroom. Charges are Ksh 3,000 payable during registration before the start of the course.
The communication was sent out to all of hockey fraternity to get the information out. This is the 3rd time this training is being organized after the other 2 failed to kick off because of availability of the trainers. KHU Secretary General, Wycliffe Ongori, Peter Obalo, and Tina Nzuki will be conducting the 2 day training. The training includes a review of the rules to ensure all those attending the training are up to date with it. KHU President, Nashon Randiek and Shiraz Yakub who are FIH Managers will make impromptu visits to see how the training is going on.
