Kenyan Secondary hockey teams have made Kenya proud by winning big in the just concluded 20th edition of Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Associations that was held in Rwanda. Kenya was represented by Nyamira Girls, St Joseph Kitale, Tigoi Girls, Musingu Boys, St Anthony Kitale, and Mangu High School.
Hockey Girls Ranking
Kenya took the top 3 positions. Nyamira Girls topped the girls ranking With St Joseph from Kitale and Tigoi Girls coming at number 2 and 3 respectively. Uganda’s Kakungulu Memorial, Namagunga, Bweranyangi and Gayasa were in position 4-7 respectively.
Hockey Boys Ranking
Uganda and Kenya shared the top 4 positions. Kenyan boys however took the silver and bronze positions while Kakungulu took the gold. Musingu High School and St. Anthony Kitale took position 2 and 3 respectively.
Most Valuable Players (MVP)
Vivian Onunga from Nyamira girls from Western Kenya took the girls MVP title while Issack Wanjawa from Musingu took for the boys.
