October 15th and 16th Game Week Preview

Another game week has adorned and a plethora of matches are scheduled to be played across the country. The teams are ready after missing a weekend that saw the Mombasa County National tournament being held then.  Fifteen matches are to be played this weekend with eight matches to be played on Saturday, October 15, 2022 while seven matches will be played on Sunday.

Saturday

National league

Four matches will be played with two from the western zone and two in the eastern zone. In the western zone, Kisii Falcons will kick off things when they host the students from the University of Eldoret in Kisii at noon. Blue Pirates will then host Bungoma farmers in kakamega at two.

In the eastern zone, all matches will be played at Strathmore University SC as Daystar University play Gorillas at two o’clock. Thika rovers will then play varsity side UON at four in the evening.

Super League – Women

Only one match will play today in this league which will feature Kenyatta University ladies taking on Vikings at noon. The match will played at City Park

Super League – Men

Parkroad Tigers will host Technical University of Kenya Students at City Park. Their match is scheduled to start at Four o’clock and will be the only match from this league today.

Premier League – Women

At four o’clock, Amira Sailors will host the USIU-A ladies at City Park as both teams look to garner maximum points from this game.

Premier League – Men

The last match of the day will see USIU-A men host travelling side Western Jaguars at City Park at six in the evening. Both teams are on a good run and are looking forward to keep their momentum rolling as they face each other.

Sunday

National League

The Eastern zone will see varsity side UON taking on Daystar University at Strathmore University SC at 1000hrs while the Western zone will see Nandi hawks hosting Kitale Hockey club in Kapsabet at 1100hrs.

Super League – Women

KU ladies will host Nairobi Chapel ladies at City Park at 1100hrs as the league leaders KU hope to garner maximum points at their second game of the weekend.

Super League – Men

Two matches will be played from this league on Sunday. KU men will host Wazalendo masters at City Park at one o’clock while KCAU face Parklands Sports club as the last match of the day at five o’clock.

Premier league – women

USIU-A Ladies will host DFG wolverines at city park at three o’clock as the varsity side will be looking for maximum points from the weekend assuming they manage to win their match on Saturday Wolverines will be looking to register another win in their books.

Premier league – men

The early kickoff will feature the Strathmore Gladiators facing Western Jaguars at nine o’clock in the morning as the varsity side will be looking to bounce back after losing their last match while Western Jaguars will be eager to collect maximum points from Nairobi assuming they win their match on Saturday.
