New Leadership Announced at Esteemed Kenyan Hockey Club Wazalendo.

One of Kenya’s top field hockey clubs, Wazalendo Hockey Club, has appointed new officials to its executive leadership positions for the upcoming season. The Club which started the Ladies team has incorporated them in the leadership

President

EllY Mwanzi takes on the role of Club President, bringing extensive experience having served previously on the club’s board as the Secretary General. He takes the mantle from Peter Karanja.

Vice President

Joining the leadership team as Vice President is Ruth Wangeci, who offers strong support to the President.

Secretary General

Bright Kezengwa steps into the influential Secretary General role, coordinating key club operations. She takes up from Job Omondi who was serving in that position.

Other Roles

Joy Katheu (Deputy Secretary), James Were maintains as the Treasurer, Cecilia Mwanza (Deputy Treasurer), Job Omondi (Male Player Rep), Patience Walucho (Female Player Rep), Erick Wesonga (YPDP Director), Rhoda Kuira (Deputy YPDP Director) and Namale Charles (Facilities Director) round out the diverse executive board.

By appointing this driven team, Wazalendo demonstrates its commitment to strong leadership guiding continued growth. Fans can be confident in the club’s capable new management as it seeks to build on past successes.
