Uganda Hockey Gears Up for FIH Series: Provisional National Team Squads Announced.

On the 3rd of May 2024, Uganda Hockey made an exciting announcement as they unveiled the provisional senior national team squads in preparation for the upcoming FIH Series scheduled for June 2024 in Lusaka, Zambia. The selected players, both men and women, were called up to represent their country and showcase their skills on an international stage. To prepare for the FIH Series, the women’s squad will train on Mondays and Thursdays, while the men’s squad will train on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The training sessions will take place from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Lugogo Hockey Stadium, commencing on Monday, 6th May 2024.

With such a talented pool of players, Uganda Hockey is optimistic about their chances in the upcoming FIH Series. The selected athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and represent their nation on the international stage, carrying the hopes and dreams of their country with them. The training sessions will serve as a platform for the players to fine-tune their abilities, strengthen their teamwork, and prepare themselves for the challenges that lie ahead.
