Greensharks have suffered their 3rd loss this evening to their arch-rivals Wazalendo. Wazalendo’s Sutcliffe Usagi’s Penalty Shot conversion in the 8th minute of the game was enough for the Mombasa Roadside to get the 3 points.
In the other Premier League games, Sailors also defeated Mombasa Sports Club 1-0 at home. Felix Opola scored the lone goal in the 44th minute giving them their 2nd win.
National League
University of Nairobi (UoN) thrashed Gorillas 3-1 in the National Men’s League Eastern Zone category.
Hosea Wekesa, George Wekesa, and Jeff Olambo scored for UoN in the 8th, 48th, and 51st minutes of the game. Gorillas’ consolation goal was scored in the 27th minute.

University sides UoN vigilantes and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) shared points after a goalless match.

Nakuru moved to 3rd on the log after getting their 2nd win against Kenyatta University (KU). Alex Tarikwa’s goal in the 30th minute granted the Nakuru-based side the all-important 3 points.
In Mombasa, Mvita XI beat Parklands Tigers 2-0 giving them their 2nd win this season. Collins Odipo scored a double in the 15th and 59th minutes of the game.
In the last Super League men’s match, Wazalendo Masters beat parklands Sports Club 2-0. Stanley Chege converted a Penalty Corner in the 23rd minute and Derick Ngesa added the 2nd in the 48th minute.
