The Kenya Hockey Union League continues this Mashujaa holiday with 6 matches on the log scheduled to be played. Each league will have a match played that kick off at noon. Of the 6 matches scheduled only 1 match will be played in Mombasa in a derby pitting Daikyo Heroes and Mombasa West.
There will be 2 early kickoffs at Strathmore University and at City Park. UoN faceoff with Impala at Strathmore University grounds in the National League Eastern Zone match. This will be the 1st time the 2 sides are meeting. UoN has not lost any match so far in the league while Impala has 2 out of their last 3 outings.
The 2nd early kickoff will be a Super League match between TUK Stingers and KCA University Wazito. Wazito defeated Stingers in the 1st leg 2-0. TUK has had only 1 win in their last 3 outings while KCA has had 2 wins and 1 draw.
Strathmore University faces off with USIU in the ladies’ Premier League and men’s Premier League at 3 pm and 4 pm respectively. Strathmore ladies have met their counterparts 7 times since 2016 and have won 3 matches playing against them. USIU ladies have won only 1 match out of the 7 encounters.
