Daikyo Heroes have moved to the top of the log of the Mombasa County Association Hockey Circuit after beating Mombasa Sports Club (MSC) 1-0. Joshua Njogu scored the all-important goal for Daikyo Heroes in the 27th minute of the game.MSC who are the hosts of the 2nd league was top of the log before this match and Daikyo Heroes were 2nd.
In the earlier match, Mvita XI & Mombasa West Hockey Club match ended in a goalless draw. This means that Mvita XI is still at the bottom of the log with 3 points from 4 matches.
The men’s circuit comprises 4 coastal side teams. The teams include MSC, Mombasa West Hockey Club, Daikyo Heroes, and Mvita XI.
Sunday Schedule
On 2nd May action moves to Aryans Sports Club with MSC playing Mombasa West at 2:30 pm. The last match for the weekend will be Daykio Heroes taking on Mvita XI at 4 pm on the same grounds.
