Daikyo In Nairobi to ensure they keep a clean record.

The KHU league continues with another round of 7 matches to be played today. There will be 3 super league matches, 2 national and 2 premier league matches slated to be played across the country.

National League

Eastern Zone

Current league leaders Daikyo Heroes are in the city and today they play against 6th placed Daystar University at the Strathmore University grounds. Daikyo has kept a clean record and has accumulated 21 points so far from 7 matches played. Daystar has lost 3 games and has drawn 2 games. They have 8 points from 7 matches played.

Western Zone

Bungoma Farmers are hosting Bay Club from Kisumu at 3 pm at their Kiwanja ndege grounds. Farmers have started this 2nd league on a high after winning their match last weekend 1-0 against Nandi Hawks. Bay dropped points at home after losing 2-1 against Kisii Falcons.

Super League

Women

University side JKUAT and Mombasa Sports Club (MSC) play the early kick-off match at City Park beginning at noon. MSC is 2nd on the log while JKUAT is 4th. MSC beat the university side 2-0 the last time they met in Mombasa but JKUAT beat them 5-0 at City Park.

Men

KCA University travels to Nakuru to play Nakuru at the Greensteads Schools grounds. Wazalendo masters on the other hand host JKUAT wildcats at City Park. Both matches will be played simultaneously at 2 pm. A win for KCA will mean they are only a point shy from the current league leaders Sikh Union who last week drew against Parkroad Tigers.

Premier League

Women

Sliders face off with Amira Sailors at City Park at 4 pm at City Park. Sliders continue to lag at the bottom of the league with only 2 points from 6 matches having accumulated 10 goals. Amira is 6th with 3 points from 4 matches. A win for any of the teams moves them to 4th place on the log.

Men

The last match is between 2 bottoms on the table sides Parkroad Badgers and MSC. Parkroad is currently placed 9th with 6 points while MSC has only managed a point from 9 matches. The Badgers will be looking to keep a clean record against MSC after beating them by a solitary goal away in Mombasa.
