Jaguars fall prey to Sailors; Simba continues to Roar in Super League

Western Jaguars were denied space to shine as they took on Sailors Hockey Club. Sikh Union (Simba) upset Kisumu Youngstars in their opening match.

Super league 

At the Dashmesh stadium, Sikh Union continued on their winning ways beating Kisumu Youngstars 2-1 in a match played at 4 pm.

Peter Nyambura and Nelson Shiahale scored for Simba in the 3rd and 35th minutes of the game respectively. Bonface Aliwa scored the consolation goal for Youngstars in the 38th minute.

In the first match of the day, Wazalenzo masters beat Parkroad Tigers 2-1.

Nakuru and coastal-based side drew 1-1 in the 2nd match of the day. Dolcan Mugaisi scored for Nakuru 2 minutes into the 2nd half of the game.

Captain Ismail Abdulahi of Mvita snatched the 3 points from Nakuru with only 2 minutes to the end of the game.

Wazalendo Masters Captain Eric Ochieng and Wilson Mutua scored in the 2nd and 26th minute of the match respectively. Langat Langat scored the lone goal for Tigers.

Premier League

Western Jaguars have this evening fallen prey to Sailors giving away 3 points and were scored 3 goals in their 1st game against Sailors Hockey despite displaying exemplary hockey.

Douglas Nyerere deflected a fantastic pass from midfield in the 18th minute.

Barely 2 minutes later Felix Opola added the 2nd making it 2-0.

Jaguars who had possession of the game started being desperate with some players ball watching causing high turnovers.

8 minutes into the 2nd half Titus Ngolia converted a PC sealing the fate of the young lads.
