USIU-A Mashujaa and Strathmore Gladiator shared points this evening in the only Men’s Premier League match played today.
The Gladiators were the first to strike in the 28th minute through a penalty corner converted by Joe Oburu. 8 minutes Daniel Mwanzia added a second one 8 minutes later.
Mashujaa responded in the 46th minute and at the stroke of time through Jamleck Maina who scored twice.
In the Ladies Premier League, Sliders lost their 2nd match to USIU-A (Spartans) 2-0. Kemunto Naomi and Mwangi Lynn scored in the 18th and 51st minutes of the game.
At Strathmore University grounds, Karate lost their 2nd game also in the last National League Eastern Zone match for the weekend to UoN by a solitary goal by Maurice Jaoko in the 44th Minute
