Mombasa Sports Club (MSC) and Daikyo Heroes will be battling it out for the Coastal League men’s title after MSC drew on Saturday and Daikyo beat Mombasa West. Daykio’s win pushed them to the top of the log by goal difference. Daikyo now have a goal difference of 11 while MSC have 9.
MSC shared points on Saturday while playing against Mvita XI. The two sides drew 1-1 goals scored by Sydney Rubia of MSC and Mvita captain, Samuel Nandwa. Daikyo beat Mombasa West 5-0 all of them scored by Farhan Khan. Khan scored in the 3rd, 8th, 11th, 49th, and 50th minutes of the match.
Actions shift today to the Aryans grounds where 3 matches again will be played. The matches will kick off at 9:30 am pitting Mvita XI and Mombasa West. The Swans will get onto the pitch and play the MSC ladies at 10:30. The last match will be between MSC and Daikyo at noon.
